Chicken Spaghetti

Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Susan Thomsen lives with her family in Connecticut. She is an alumna of the New Yorker’s Goings On About Town department, and was a theater critic for New York Sidewalk, a Microsoft publication. She is the author of Elvis: A Tribute to the King, a gift book in the shape of a record. Her poetry has appeared in Streetcake Magazine, Unlost Journal, Tea: A Magazine, and ScribesMICROFiction; she has contributed nonfiction to the Poetry Foundation, PBS Parents’ Booklights blog, and other venues. Once a children’s book blogger, Susan continues to be a picture-book enthusiast, and reads weekly to a public-school second-grade class. Chicken Spaghetti, founded at Typepad in 2005, initially focused on books for kids, and now covers whatever catches Susan’s fancy.
